ASB stands for the Associated Student Body and is the Student Council for the school. ASB consists of elected and appointed student representatives who, with passion, integrity, and vision, embrace the quote, "Leadership is action, not just a position."
ASB members are the voice of the student body. They are students who not only want to develop leadership, teambuilding, citizenship, and communication skills, but want to make a difference on their campus.
Through event-planning and implementation of: Dances, rallies, spirit weeks, Fun Days, Reward Days, lunch activities, student and staff appreciation, awareness days, and community service, these leaders strive to promote kindness and service, unite the student body, and make La Quinta Middle School a welcoming, fun, and safe learning environment for everyone.
